Marbella beach and its beautiful promenade in December are a wonderful place to be any day of the week, but especially at the weekends when the locals join the visitors to stroll along the seafront to enjoy the spectacular views, the normally fantastic weather (it was 24C when these photos were taken!) and the fabulous bars and restaurants. One of our favorite places to go to is the "La Red" restaurant that is just below the promenade and on the beach. 

Open throughout most of the year, with evenings in the summer too, La Red, has a wide range of tasty dishes and drinks to tempt most palates, is great for families and couples and has great service too! 

Just a few minutes walk from our apartments in El Presidente, is the lovely Casa Juan: Steak “N” Rib restaurant in El Paraíso. For over 30 years its owner, Juan, has been warmly welcoming guests and inviting them to enjoy freshly prepared food in the the cosy interior or the beautiful rear garden for dining beneath the stars!
